Yikes, he's back to 1932. Was this article written first in German as well?

Pat Buchanan has shown once again that the best thing that has ever happened to the Republican Party is the day he left it

I agree with Buchanan, though I must admit I always do.

People may hate Pat but would we have the illegal alien problem we do today if we had listened to him in '92?

Pat Buchanan has shown once again that the best thing that has ever happened to the Republican Party is the day he left it. Now if we could only get Pat to take the rest of his followers with him.

There's a reason that the immigration suddenly became a hot issue this year, despite the fact that the problem's been around for a long time. The Dems knew it would split the GOP and hand them power. Pure politics, and a good strategy.

Yeah, that's what we need.... another depression!

"Wow, that was fast".
It should be one of the first things to come to mind to anyone who pays ANY attention to Buchanan, even at the margins.

Sorry, but I have to call you on this! Either conservatives stick together DESPITE our relatively minor differences, or we lose to the Dems. You apparently disagree with Pat. Personally, I agree with some of his points and disagree with others.
Frankly, I'm sick and tired of FReepers who are so eager to write off anyone they disagree with! We need ALL conservatives to overlook their occasional differences and concentrate on the many things that bind us together.
For example, I'm a devout Christian conservative. Some FReepers are conservative atheists. You know what, I share a lot more in common with an atheist who believes in limited government than the many socialist atheists on the left.
Please stop bashing the home team!!! PLEASE!
