The damn-near-nonexistant Republican Party in California has ceded BOTH Senate seats a long time ago.

All congressional politics are local and explains why Congresscreatures don't seem to act in accordance with "national will". Feinstein knows who her voters are and what they want. Heaven help us if she becomes a member of the majority.

Feinstein is a bulletproof Douche bag politically. She will either Die in office or retire.

The off-the-charts terrible Prop 82 is leading 52% to 39%, but since this is a Field poll it very well may actually be a tie.

Those people must not have (a) common sense or (b) someone better to pick from. (c) all of the above.

Can somebody explain to me why a candidate named "Mountjoy" is not running away with the race in the Bay Area?

I ran my own poll and she lost two to zip.

The preschool education thing will probably win - it's Rob Reiner's "last hurrah" -- I suppose I should be grateful that at least this time he's not asking for smokers to fund it - now he's going after the people with high incomes.

As for Feinstein - the blue counties will vote her in while geographically, the greater area of red counties will once more find themselves completely unrepresented in the Senate.

Why would anyone spend 25 million dollars for a position that pays less than one million dollars over a six year period ?

Out of California's huge population, the best representation we can come up with is two political puppets like Feinstein and Boxer.

California is owned by the democratic party who is owned by the public employees unions, and we are their sheeple.

There are states that will never go for a Republican majority ever again. At least not in our life time.

California, New York, Western states and North east states are all lost.

We need to hold every Red state we have now and gather in as many swings as possible.

President Bush made a big mistake spending so much time and money in the first election that should have went to swing states not solid Blue states.

Not trying to be negative only being realistic about things in this time of history.

Having lived there for 5 years, most Californian's are totally clueless to the "ways" of Washington, DC. The 3 time-zone distance takes way too much trouble to divert some of their precious "energy" into paying attention into what's going on in their nation. It's so much easier to listen to their Hollywood/Academic idols than think for themselves. It's truly a state of too many shallow people. California can no longer claim to "lead" the nation. Feinstein is an icon and will be in the Senate until SHE decides to retire. PERIOD!

Its Mexicalifornicator land.....they get what they deserve.
Unfortunately the true conservatives in Ca. also get what the leftist sheeple there deserve as well. Too bad the Golden State turned tin foil.
