I was just looking at the Elian Gonzalez gov't kidnap photos to recall whether those Janet Reno shock troops who went in after the 6 yr. old child with automatic weapons were ATF. Nope.

I must have been thinking of Wesley Clark's Waco Compound Disaster. That was ATF. At least it was before the U.S. Army fired on the American citizens inside.


p.s. If one picture is worth a thousand words, the Elian photo is a must have for anyone trying to stop Hillary Clinton from gaining power. It takes a village, and this is how Hillary runs her village. Beyond disgraceful.

I believe that murder was done by Lon Horiuchi of FBI's Hostage Rescue team, taking over for the US Marshals. The JBT with the MP5 pointed at Elian is probably HRT, as well.

They also took over after ATF's cattle car massacre at Waco and I believe Horiuchi was there also. It looks like Elian may have been lucky.

Just a note, Lon Horiuchi, a sniper with the FBI was the sniper who shot Randy Weaver's wife in the head.

If there is, it's a fake. Mrs. Weaver was shot by Ron Horiuchi, an FBI agent. The only involvement of the BATFE in the Ruby Ridge fiasco was to entrap Randy Weaver, thus setting the whole affair up. Randy's son was shot by a federal marshal. The Marshals, rather than driving up and serving a warrant for Randy's arrest, were surveiling the place, and had been for quite some time. They never announced their presence, at least not until they shot the dog, who probably smelled them and was investigating. Randy's son and the Weaver's friend grabbed rifles when the dog alerted them, but they thought it was an animal. When the dog was shot, the son returned fire, the Marshals shot the son, and the friend shot one of the Marshalls. Later when the FBI came in, Horiuchi, a West Point grad, shot Mrs. Weaver.

I have seen no evidence that anyone but BATF and FBI agents fired on the Waco Compound. Even the BATFE was only involved in the original raid/attack. There probably were Army or National Guard advisers (the equipment belonged to the Texas National Guard) on site to advice the FBIies on the use of the armored vehicles. Wesly Clark, as loathsome as he is, was involved very peripherally, if at all.

That was Janet Reno's disaster from the time the FBIies took over from the BATFers after the Davidians beat back the BATF attack.
