In respectful disagreement, I prefer my food without pesticides.
We have recently switched to organic milk due to the hormones. There have been discussions as to whether the estrogen in the milk is affecting boys behavior...in other words making them more emotional. I'm a woman and want my boy to be a boy.

Try Soy milk. It's high in natural estrogens. While it may not make boys more emotional, it has been known to cause males to develop breast tissue.
My kids drink organic milk and eat organic eggs. I get the organic Spring Mix for salads and there's a brand of organic apples that are delicious.
I've recently begun buying organic meats and butter from Rosas Farms out of Ocala, Florida. Expensive but well worth it.
Although pesticides on plants concerns me, I am more concerned with antibiotics and hormones found in meat and dairy.
I grow tomatoes, peppers and herbs in a small backyard plot and pots. I can make my own salsa except for the onion and garlic but I can probably figure those out too. I hate to bite off more than I can proverbially chew!!
