In the performance of my daily work duties, I was watching some of Wednesdays edition of Democracy Now! Now while this is one of my more painful duties, I often find myself stopping and watching out of sheer disgust and this was another of those instances.
This Sunday night, HBO will be premiering the documentary "Baghdad ER" and DN hostess Amy Goodmans demeanor during her interviews with the filmmakers and an Army doctor showed her contempt for our sons and daughters who were passing through the Baghdad hospital.

I was answering rhetorical questions with rhetorical questions.
No matter who does the documentary, the truth is done in the editing room and frequently lies on the cutting room floor.

Got it (DUH. More caffine, please)
Agree that creative editing will always be the method by which the filmaker's agenda is attained.

Good morning.
"Was Baghdad ER filmed in Baghdad military hospitals? Did they film real soldiers and doctors or was it staged?"
More important is the question of editing. The Left is very good at editing footage to present the message they want.
The bottom line is that anything they produce is probably a lie.

Thanks for the link on Pacifica. I knew some of the history (including Houston) and even some of the "recent" upheaval/takeover (as politics again came to the forefront of programming and music libraries were sold off and even burned).

Also, do any of us remember a "Mogadishu ER" or a "Haiti ER" or a "Bosnia ER" show being produced when a Democrat president initiated war...?If any of those conflicts were of the scale and cost of the Iraq War, I believe you would have seen similar treatment.
