One RINO looks like he's getting retired (State Senator Jubelirer) by a good conservative primary challenger. Let's see if that holds.

LOL! Actually, I do not have a huge problem with mistresses. Well, I think adultery is very wrong, but it's not high on my list of things to get worked up over. Choking one's mistress is a bigger deal, but I can even overlook that if one seems contrite enough.
My interest in the race is because I think it could be far more competitive than it's been given credit, especially if Sherwood loses the nomination. At the least, this supports what I've contended that people are understating the impact of political scandals, and how they can make 'counter-partisan' things happen at the polls.
That being said, GWB took 56.4% in 2000 and 60.0% in 2004, so it's definitely an uphill climb for the Democrat.

Senate GOP leader loses in anti-pay raise vote

PHILADELPHIA - Senate Majority Leader David J. Brightbill, who helped craft the unpopular legislative pay raise, was ousted from office in an upset defeat in Tuesday's primary.
With 38 percent of precincts reporting, Mike Folmer had 6,258 votes, or 64 percent, compared with 3,520, or 36 percent, for Brightbill.
Brightbill, a Lebanon County native, was first elected to the Senate in 1982 and became Senate majority leader in 2000.
Brightbill, with his wife beside him, conceded defeat before stunned supporters at Lebanon County GOP headquarters. He said he would continue to work on property tax relief during his remaining time in office.
Folmer's spokeswoman said Brightbill may have lost because he fell out of touch with the people in his district.
"Because you know what? This state is about the people. We're built on 'We the people,'" said Laurel Lynn Petolicchio with the Folmer campaign.

Yup. And Robert Jubelirer won't make up the difference either. They both go down.
If the results hold, a great night for PA with both Jubes and Brightbill biting the dust. Hope Veon does as well...

One of the three is going down, one is ahead, and no votes on the third, of the troika targets.
