Joseph's Farah's point by point rebuttal of Bush's amnesty speech. Its as craven as it is an admission of the President's failure to safeguard our country's borders for nearly 5 years after 9/11. We won't survive if Bush and his Open Borders Lobby friends in the U.S Senate have it their way.

We've been lucky. But keeping the door open to people who mean our country harm is completely inexcusable.

Joe Farah makes some good points. President Bush has danced around the immigration issue for the last five years. Bush is wrong. Amnesty and a path to citizenship is wrong. UNACCEPTABLE.

Only HR4437 will get the job done. Secure the borders and enforce employer sanctions.

Nothing is changed. The words of the President are just spoken in a different way. It still adds up to open borders and amnesty.

"It still adds up to open borders and amnesty."

Care to substantiate that statement?

I think Farah's a little worked up eh? Of course, he's mostly right. You can't really expect a totally satisfactory solution, from ANY President, but Bush just sank the Republicans. Alot of people are pissed, big time. I think the Republican Revolution looks pretty bleak about now.

there should be a wall there in my opinion (barbed wire and uav's optional but preferred). i get wary of people who seem to attack when the 'polls' tell them to (farah). Bush got handed the biggest load of steaming crap in US history as far as i'm concerned, and progress has been made. the border should be sealed to reiterate.

Joseph Farah is right.

It's just cover for trying to push through the old "guest worker", now called "temporary worker" program.

The President speaks about a fence, biometric id cards, troops on the border and you say that he's for OPEN borders? Give me a break!

"We are also a nation of immigrants"

not true, there have been more US citizens born on US soil than there have been citizens who were born elsewhere and immigrated, almost 95% to 5%.

Its more correct to say that we are all descendants of immigrants, and if these guest amnesty pathway to voter registration , head of the line subsidized tax payer labor plans go through the ratio of immigrant descendants to direct immigrants could be 50% 50% in not so many years which is not at all in the spirit of our countries great history of immigrantion.
