It's true that good help is hard to find these days but anyone who really believes this was a "mistake" has been doing too many recreational drugs. Just another cheap shot from the Commie News Network.
Who was manning the camera, that drunk Cafferty?
Like that X that just happened to adorn Cheney's face!
I don't believe this was a mistake. They knew the speech was not starting yet and showed the image? No mistake.
What could she have been thinking.
In the end Jordan dumped the widow and moved on.
18 times the speed of light? Goodness.
Hell no, it wasn't a mistake. The CNN stooges were all grinning like cats that swallowed an aquarium full of fish. This is a no brainer-gotcha moment democrats are relishing. CNN should definitely be banned for this deliberate and offensive transgression. No excuses should be tolerated from "America's Number One Cable Network", right?
Fortunately no one watches CNN.
Blame the White House staff on this one. They give the news media all the pre-event lighting shots they need before the President speaks from the Oval Office. They should not have any live-feed available until the President ACTUALLY begins his ACTUAL speech, not any dress rehersal...
If you give any enemy the opportunity to "bend you over" in public, THEY WILL DO SO. Never give them the opportunity. How often does Hollywood let the outtakes get viewed if they really make the 'star' look bad - instead of just "American Funniest Home Videos" type ha-ha funny?
After six years the Bush communications staff still has not learned its lesson...
dvwjr
No question about it! The first mistake in over half a century of live TV broadcasts just happens to be when President Bush is about to address the nation? This is proof of a vast left wing conspiracy!
CNN is staffed with affirmative action hires and interns....it's all they can afford.
"Where's my f-ing balloons!!??"
frauds
CNN's new motto: "We're not stupid; we're just incompetant!"
You have to admit this one is pretty hard to dispute.

Bush jump-starts speech thanks to miscue
By KASIE HUNT
ASSOCIATED PRESS WRITER
WASHINGTON -- President Bush was briefly caught in the floodlights Monday night when NBC News, which was operating the television camera in the Oval Office, gave him the cue to begin his speech too early.
A few minutes before the scheduled 8:01 p.m. EDT start time, CNN showed the president reciting the opening lines of his prime time address.
He was well into the second paragraph of his prepared remarks on immigration before NBC realized the error and told him to stop speaking. Only a few seconds were broadcast on CNN.
"There was a miscommunicated cue from our pool in the Oval Office for the president," said NBC News deputy Washington bureau chief Wendy Wilkinson. She said the network restarted the address on schedule after it realized the error.
Get this...
I was listening to the callers on C-SPAN after the speech, and when they had taken a few callers, the witch on C-SPAN announced they were going to replay the speech....
...which they did - including the 16 second miscue..followed by the speech.
Does the word "editing" mean anything to C-SPAN? When you get the 2nd chance to air something, you have a chance to edit. Of course we all know why they didn't.
They all get the same pool feed, but they each decide when to cut to it on their own. CNN's control room made the choice to cut to it.
Which is why the White House should produce its own feed. I'd have loved to be listening to the intercom at the time, though.
