Actually, you are. If you can point out another major party with an actual shot at winning elections which has a conservative social and fiscal plank, other than Republican party, I'll change it. Until that time, the Republican party is the most conservative party with a snowball's chance in hell of actually winning elections and making an impact. It's also a fact that the vast majority of registerd Republican voters are more conservative than most Republican Senators, and about 50 Republican Representatives. But even so, the consevative majority of American voters sure won't get what they want by voting for democrats, but over time, they will by voting Republican.
