Ho-hum. In 30 years, if the Republic survives, he will be looked upon by non-sheep as either (1) an ineffectual non-entity of the same order as Buchanan or (2) the man who destroyed the 40 year old, ascendant, conservative movement, thereby destroying any chance of stopping the move toward an Orwellian society.

Of course, if 1984 is in full force by then, you may be right about the official line--he may be a hero. That would mean that the "Great Experiment" is in the dustbin.
