Let's see if I have this right.

Tancredo likes the speech.

Lou Dobbs likes the speech.

But the complainers on FR didn't like it. Nothing is ever good enough for them. We need to realize that a good portion of these people never supported the president to begin with. And a good portion of those aren't even conservatives or Republicans.

I'm pretty sure I heard both Tancredo and Dobbs DIS the speech after the Pres' presentation this evening.

That disputes what Texas is saying...

Tancredo likes the speech.

He liked parts of it.

So did I.

Yet they are taking a conservative position over a politically motivated one.

I agree 100%. I mean, I've bene railing against Bush unmercifully here, in public, with people I know, etc, about Bush's total lack of any kind of spine to secure the border of get rid of illegals. And tonight, I was stunned by this speach. He said 90% or more of the things that real conservatives like Tencredo and Limbaugh have been saying should be done to secure the border, and now tonight all these silly ridiculous people are ripping Bush apart and talking about how this speech finished off the conservative majority in November. That just defies logic, since the things Bush said have massive popular support in the American public, and are opposed only be illegals and liberals. It's pretty simple. Conservatives, REAL conservative have called for what Bush said tonight, liberals have long opposed it all. Those here tonight all over Bush are either DU trolls or liberals or both. I cannot see how any real conservative can be bent out of shape by this speach. It's silly. But then, any lib can post and say they're a conservative. We'll see how November turns out. If this is the tack the conservatives are going to take the next few months, I wouldn't want to be a democrat right now after this speach. They have to oppose it and all he said in it, and that will put the democrats in the way of what a clear majority of Americans want.

Yeah you're right. The bottom line is, many pinko libs from DU and other frothing lib sites post there and here at the same time with different handles. They just thing us stupid conservatives can't figure that out easily by the tenor of their posts. Dissent, deception and flat out lies are the only way that liberals win elections, and the liberal voters are no different than those they vote for.
