Child labor laws need to be reformed as soon as the fence is built. Most employers will not hired kids as it is not economically feasible especially when compared to illegals.

All things equal would you hired a child and have to pay comp and all the withholding versus hiring an adult. In most cases an adult will do a better job. And since illegals tend to take the jobs our children used to do....?

My #2 son wanted to work in fast food in Mira Mesa (San Diego). He was shut out of most places as they were 100% asian kids. The Mexican places insisted on having Spanish speakers. That was something he could act upon. He now speaks fluent Spanish. That turned into a major asset in his work as a real estate agent/broker.
