A good argument for getting rid of welfare...The clerks dispensing welfare checks in San Diego lamented that they earned less than the people coming to collect those checks for doing nothing at all. When a welfare check pays more than performing honest labor, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what people will do.
