He has been called a terrorist by Washington but... An adoring audience of British left-wingers and the Latin American diaspora cheered, clapped, sang and laughed as Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez denounced President Bush and capitalism and praised Ken Livingstone and the Pope... During his marathon address, with occasional pauses to ask his "amigo" Ken whether his time was up, he managed to refer to everyone from George Bernard Shaw to Rosa Luxemburg, Pythagoras to Thomas Jefferson, CLR James to his mother. "Sometimes I'm a terrorist according to Washington or a guy who does military coups," said President Chávez, in front of a backdrop of his country's red, blue and yellow flag. "But all we did was participate in a revolutionary movement, which is what we are doing now." He went through a history of revolution in Latin America and described how his hero, Simon Bolivar, had visited London in 1810.
And, of course, you can see how it responded.
What happened to regitroll did he lose interest.
Left around noon, here Va. time. Guess mom made some soup for lunch.
This "class war" is the M.O. for these people througout the course of history, and it is what they use throughout the world (including right here in the USA) today.
They claim to be for the 'poor', but their ultimate aim is their aphrodesiac, POWER and CONTROL over others.
They use class war to gain "appeal" among the masses and gain 'popularity' and leverage over the general population, but once they are in control - GAMES OVER! You lose your rights, property, and the persuit of happiness!

AMERICA, STAY VIGILANT!
THE INVADERS ARE HERE ALREADY.
"Chavez gets hero's welcome in London"
And that is new how?
Didn't these same British give a hero's welcome to Karl Marx too?
If I am not mistaken, the clown died in London didn't he?
Merely the latest chapter in along British tradition of kissing the butts of hard line, left wing dictators.
If those dictators happen to be America-hating psychopaths like Hugo Chavez, even better.
As for The Guardian, they make Pravda look positively respectable.
If they are not calling for President Bush's assassination, they are busy kow towing to left wing dictators.
Good old Red Ken was there to pay obeisance as well was he?
He's never been the same since his hero country, the Soviet Union imploded.
Poor guy.
Actually, his ex-mistress just published a book about ol Hugo. After this mistress, he then went on to various other mistresses and, I believe, at least one wife. But he's like Castro: he believes it gives him more power if people know nothing about him. Castro, for example, had at least one child, a daughter who eventually wrote a book - about how her mother had been told never to breathe a word about the fact that Castro was her father, because Castro was supposedly "married to the revolution." I think Hugo is emulating his adored Castro in this too.
Very interesting. Looks like Chavez is also "married to the revolution".
