Agreed. I'd be more impressed by an administration telling us about what they have done on this issue, rather than telling us what they will do.

Promises require credibility. The current track record precludes credibility.

It's become a question of just how stupid do they think we are. I view this whole deal as blackmail. The executive is effectively sending a message to Congress, if you vote for amnesty we'll enforce the law. What Congress ought to do is investigate why these laws haven't been enforced vigorously until today.

This or any other administration isn't going to do anything until whatever predetermined number of immigrants (legal & illegal) have crossed our borders. All these millions are not needed to continue or improve the lives of American citizens but they are necessary as revenue generating base to hold on to and expand their political power.
In the process, USA will be turned into what we can witness in the crowded cities of India, China and even Mexico City.

Instead of "fruited plains from sea to shining sea" we will have "crowded ghettos from sea to shining sea". These power hungry globalist basta*ds are turning the USA from a "melting pot" to a "sewer pit" and we, who still can avert a disaster, do nothing but elect and reelect the same crooks over and over because we feel comfortable being F...ed by someone familiar.
