Anyone, liberal or otherwise, living in a large American city, especially NYC and DC, should be very conscious of the bullseye painted on the home they live in.
Being famous Hollywood liberals, elected Democrats or Mel Gibson will not make you less of a target, only more likely to be honored by the Islamists for dying for their cause. It is not paranoia or fear mongering to believe the radical Islamists want us all to die for Allah, preferably under a nuclear cloud.

Getting rid of Assmabad with extreme prejudice would not change the situation. There are hundreds more to take his place. There are hundreds more mullahs who put him where he is.
Their weapons must be destroyed. Their capacity to make war must be destroyed. The regime must be decapitated. Killing the figurehead will accomplish nothing.

"It would be cheaper to just get rid of Ahmadman" We will have none of this common sense as a US policy./sarcasm
Not only would it be cheaper, the cost of a bullet, poison, mechanical failure of his air plane etc., but safer for our people and the rest of the world.

Israel should take the lead in this one.
We will support them in any way possible, but it's time we get something for the billions we send them every year.

That tactic will not work, since they will regroup and you will have to go in again and again and again.
Well, a little bombing works for a short-term solution. But - as you have correctly stated - short-term solutions will be useless in the Mideast, if The West is _really_ of the mind to win in the War with Islam.
I see only ONE possible, workable, permanent solution to this struggle:
The Islamic world must be DE-Islamicized.
There is no other way.
So long as Islam lives and breathes, The West is in mortal danger.
If one believes that to be true (I do), what other possible solutions CAN there be?

i agree 100%. Unfortunately, political correctness has also found its way into war fighting strategy.

I thgink my numbers were wron as you point out. The tactical nukes are from 1/3 to 1/2 as strong as the bombs used on Hiroshima and Hagasaki, and if you say thats around 5 kilotons, then I believe you!
Anthing bigger than 5 sticks of dynamite is BIG to me, because 5 sticks of dynamite is the largest explosion I have ever seen!
Even 5 kilotons is more than I can vizualize with any accuracy.
