Last time I checked, the U.S.A. does not have an official language, english or otherwise.

Don't know which versions you have read but those of our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America that I've perused were in English.

Yes, they were written in English, but do either of those documents state that a child, or any other citizen, for that matter, must speak english in order to be entitled to the same rights as any other?
