You know what JustPiper, I think I'll stick to this thread as my 'live' thread for tonight. I don't know how far you've ventured out, but every thread that deals with this topic has become exasperating and tonight will only get worse. It seems that anyone who posts a thread or a message in opposition to Bush is being labeled or attacked by what seems to be some long-time Freepers. The taglines have gotten nasty, BUSH HATER and/or AMERICA HATER has been added as a keyword on all the threads. Even Michelle Malkin is getting ripped to shreads. I have only been here a few years and I wouldn't think all of this is acceptable, but it's not being stopped by anyone and seems to be escalating. So far today, this thread has been slow, but thankfully quiet. Maybe it will remain so through tonight?

You have put this very well, as a long-timer I shake my head all the time, not many have stuck it out but all I can say is our grief is bad enough as an American, we cannot ignore what is happening to our country but we can completely skip over the inciteful, baiting posts should they come and the same way we click the remote when we don't agree with what our TV screen shows, we can go to the next post, as hard as it is, if it's abusive we report it, it's very hard not to be baited, I sure know, but I know it is as useless as trying to comprehend what our President is doing.

So I agree I'll stay here tonight, and refuse to be part of the chaos they enjoy inciting, I am sick enough from how we are being sold out and if those enabler's of this disaster get off on harassing us, I will just simply pretend they are not around
