According to Jim Gilchrist today, 12 million is a lie. He stated there are more like 30 million and I have found on 'latino' websites the number at 40 million.
It's my understanding for each illegal legalized, 4 or more ADDITIONAL family members are also granted legalization.

Yes it is. And another way to look at it, and to be a little conservative, estimate the number of illegals is somewhere in the middle, maybe around 20 million, that would be 20% of the entire population of Mexico!!
At the very least according to gov. estimates of 12 million, that still is almost 12% of the population of Mexico.. which doesn't include the number family members that would also be made legal. Astounding!!
Fox is dumping Mexico's burden in our lap!! And our sellout pols are allowing it, some even encouraging it!
I've posted many times around here about the probable real numbers of illegals. There are probably 15 million in California, another 10 million in Texas. 40 million sounds about right for a total.
