Ironically, Iran doesn't have any refineries... they have to import all their gasoline. They seem to forget this when they talk about cutting the oil to everyone else.
I saw an oil analyst say a couple weeks ago that our SPR (strategic petroleum reserve) was more than enough to out-last anything Iran can do with an oil 'shut-off.'
Au contraire mi amigo ( a little frogmex lingo there)..... They have nine refineries but they are incapable of producing enough gasoline and thus there is a need to import significant quantities.
They are Nine crude oil refineries in Tehran , Tabriz , Isfahan , Abadan , Kermanshah , Shiraz , Bandar Abbas , Arak and Lavan Island .
