Ohio - I can understand your feelings about the thread and posters. I would just offer that you had a WONDERFUL idea and that 98% of a long thread was very productive, civil, adult and thoughtful and was appreciated by MANY. Please don't let the turkeys get you down. I've always enjoyed your posts and you are a great contributor. It would definitely be FR's and FReepers' loss if you didn't post.

I was just reviewing another thread (got to finish getting ready for work now). I don't usually look at keywords on a post, but found this post and also a response post. More proof that some of these threads are being hijacked:

It's not just the democrats. Every thread that discusses opposition to Bush plan has added keywords letting us know just what some FR's think about those who disagree. Their replies are also growing more and more contemptuous. Namecalling without namecalling:

Shouldn't someone be made aware of this? Unless, of course, admin agrees with them. IMO, its getting absolutely shameful.

I think McCain will have a rude awakening in '08 -- unless a lot of dems register GOP just to vote for him in the primary, and I can't see large enough numbers doing so to make a difference.

I'm wondering if, now the word about the REAL McCain instead of the media darling McCain starts to spread if money will do him any good? One good melt-down ala the Dean Scream and McCain is toast.

As long as McC was ready to bash the President he was the media darling. Now he doesn't dare alienate the President's supporters so he's more careful and of no use to the media.

I Know exactly what you mean. My daughter just left there. The crime is incredible. No telling how bad however, the media keeps it quiet because of disney but they have close to 200 different gangs there now.

Our company has been to exhibitions in that area and they were advised not to leave their hotel at night alone.
