If you were in the Military that is probably acceptable to them, as long as you did not have any say in where your American Born parents were when you were born.

I noticed that there are a lot less posts on those threads tonight...

Maybe they are tired of fighting...or they are writing out their posts of outrage to post in a thread after President Bush's speech tomorrow night...LOL

Kind of like how the dems write a PRE-buttal to the SOTU, instead of a rebuttal..

"Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but they're not entitled to their own facts. Most of the "facts" pushed by the BDS types over Katrina are flat out lies."

So true, Phsstpok - -you nailed it! Hope your trip is going well and you're surviving being in SF. Thanks again for your hard work and diligence on the Pre-show thread!

Best,
SC

It probably makes you a mutt like me. My Father's ancestors came over on the Mayflower, and some of his Ancestors were Indians already here. English ,Scotch,French, and then Pure Irish on the other side of the Family. Mutt....But we make great Mutts.

Sean seems to have lost his humility. He could have said, if I was President this is what I might say, but just giving him orders is too much..

That is an excellent post/point about Moby and the 2004 campaign. There are a lot of Trolls that signed up them, but there are lots that signed up before me because it was the only place to go for talk like this, with lots of info.

Yea, that what happen when you are like Newt and scarifies principal to play politics. Instead of using it as a teachable moment, he tries to be all things to all people. I call it Newt's Mccain impression.

Newt is all done. He will not be a serious candidate in 2008. He too much talking head, not enough leader to win a Republican Primary. Republicans do NOT reward phoniness in their leaders. Better a heartfelt unpopular position then mindlessly regurgitating a popular Junk Media talking point if you are a Republican candidate.

You are 100% bass ackwards.

Newt is the visionary of Republican politics. He is solely principle. It pains him to see the Republican Party under Tom DeLay's mismanagement.

In contrast to Newt's vision, DeLay used conservative-sounding rhetoric, but never accomplished anything. We got Indian tribe gambling because the Indians wanted to be "self sufficient". We got MFN status with China because "free trade equals free religion". We killed any type of immigration control in the CNMI because the CNMI was a "petri dish of capitalism".

As far as real conservative ideals, DeLay would talk a good game and never deliver. Why no tax reform? Why an increase in government spending that embarasses LBJ? Why? Because that's what the lobbyists wanted.

Newt is the anti-DeLay. And I support Newt.

Sean's arrogance is breathtaking.

Seems he knows so much more than the President.

Oh, I agree. I was just explaining why people were sometimes a bit leery.

Most of us found this site in a roundabout way. I found it through Drudge when he still linked to this site, back in the Monica Lewinsky days. Sometimes I am amazed that I have been here for nearly 8 years.

That is so funny, they actual might be celebrating with their Mother's. I think they are waiting for the speech for the venom to come back. Nothing he will do will please 90 percent of them, but that is fine with me. I would love for the Homeland security to build a thirty foot fence, and I do not think anyone would worry about the esthetic's.

I heard about this site and told others about it long before I used it and signed on. Al Rantel had a Radio Talk Show in South Florida for a number of Years and sometime around 97 or 98 I believe he announced Their Name and read excerpts and news items from the site. Everyone I told about it loved it, and then when I moved I was able to log on also. I will always be thankful to Al for that info. He is a very successful Talk Show Personality in Los Angeles KABC, I believe, but he is good, Conservative and Gay. The Gays hate him because he does not condone their behavior, and has been known to read Police Reports where prominent Gays are arrested over the Air.

Newt has the intellectual energy to restart the whole thing again. His Contract with America along with Rush's show, was the start of the whole thing and he could do it again.

Amen! Newt was conservative vision with results. DeLay is conservative rhetoric with consequences.

Sean reminds me of the Republican politicians that rode Bush's coattails to wins in 2002 and 2004...but are distancing as fast as they can now that his "numbers" are down...

Amazing how those people feel that it is now okay to show such disrespect for the man and the position...NOW.

I know that Sean was big into campaigning for President Bush...but it sure didn't hurt his ratings....did it??

Also, I can remember when Sean practically begged Katherine Harris to run for Senate, and announce it on his show...do you know if he has done any show with her to try to help her??

If not, it couldn't be because her "numbers" are down, could it??

Are you thinking this is a mistake by the media, or a mistake by President Bush, if it is true??

The way I understand it the change over is one reason the prices have gone up so rapidly. They claim 'all vehicles" can run on 10% ethenol, but the thread I was on said ethenol is attracted to water (main reason they can't pipeline it) and if there is water/condensation in the tanks a person could end up with more water than their fuel pump can handle (is just one of the potential problems).

At the very least it reduces gas milage so certainly isn't more efficient, uses more of our precious water supplies -- if made from US Corn -- currently adds .54 cents a gallon to gas because of the import fee for imported ethenol... we should all send Al Gore and his friends a big thank you note!
