"Politicians incur the wrath of the constituency when they do not act in office the way they led supporters to believe they would."President Bush always said he supported the idea of a guest worker program. It was obvious during his first campaign he was soft on illegals and not fiscally conservative.
That's the reason I was not as enthusiastic about President Bush as I was about President Reagan.
Even his "compassionate conservativism" was a clue. He didn't mislead anyone.

I can't wait to see if Jeb tries to run, If he does I betcha he goes down in flames. Conservatives have just had enough of these politicians.
Heck, even the democrats are puzzled by their own party. That oughta tell ya somethin, people are just fed up with all the deception from our government.
What ever happened to true statesmen. Say whatcha mean and stick to it.
