Ahh the hypocratic irony! Bush is too damn stupid to run the country, but an evil genius at stealing elections!

This has been a sore spot for the liberals from the very beginning. They (all of them) were absolutely convinced that Bush would be an easy target due to the fact (in their minds) that he was as dumb as a rock and unable to comprehend anything about the third grade level.

Not only has Bush outsmarted them at every turn, but he managed to win not one but TWO elections in a row.

Not bad for a drooling imbicile, eh?

Part of this is partisan prejudice. Both sides are guilty of it. ("If he weren't dumb as a box of rocks, he would be on our side!") I personally plead guilty to sometimes forgetting that Bill Clinton wasn't stupid. (Other things, maybe, but not stupid.)
The perfect retort is "Of course he's as dumb as a box of rocks. He's just way smarter that YOUR box of rocks, which is why your box lost!"
