On Monday Bush will call for the NG to close the border...but only as a first step to giving long-range amnesty to the millions of law breakers already here....IMHO
I'm sorry to say that I don't trust him to "strategically redeploy" them back home immediately after the November elections.
I think Krauthammer is right that this stinks of a quid pro quo: I'll give you your border back, if you give the Senate it's amnesty for 12 million.
By gosh, it's not even a fair trade.
