Visiting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said in Rome on Thursday in case of a military attack against Iran, no country in the world would have access to crude oil.
Chavez made the remark at a press conference, adding, As Irans President Ahmadinejad has reiterated, if Tehran would come under attack, oil would get scarce for everyone.
He also said that the US President George W. Bush should be put to trial at the international court of justice for having launched genocide in Iraq. For all the horror it has created around the globe in the course of the past century, the United States war machine should be dismantled, since under the current conditions it is a threat against the entire mankind, particularly against our children.
Chavez added, The North American empire is the most cruel murderer regime that has ever come to power in world history and a serious threat for all nations.
He believes the death of the United States had better taken place in the course of the 21st century, because otherwise the entire world would face the threat of annihilation.

If Chavez stops the oil he stops the money. If there is no money there will be a revolt. It is unlikely that Chavez will do anything long term because he likes to breathe and really likes to hear himself talk. That would be hard to do when the peasents put his head on a pole.
Pat Robertson was right.
This would be a wonderful way to close all that asshats Citco stations. Lets do it for just that reason.

You know it some ways it's funny, in World War II, we had Hitler in Germany, Mussolini in Italy and Tojo in Japan.
Now, we have that Jew-hating Ahmadjihad in Iran, Chavez in Venezuela strutting around with his chin stuck out like Mussolini, and Kim Jong Ill is trying real hard to be another Tojo.
And all three of these mutts are so ronery.
Iran is going to get the big smack down, and I'm willing to bet it's sooner rather than later. I could well be wrong, but I happen to believe that the Bush Administration is allowing this diplomatic doo-dah with Iran and the U.N. to drag on for a while to allow Israel time to prepare for any retaliatory response from Iran (if they sit this one out), or to actively participate in a joint U.S./Israeli operation to take out Tehran's nukes.
Kim Jong in North Korea may be a lot of things, but he is if nothing else, one sneaky little SOB, and it would not surprise me if he waited for a U.S. strike on Iran to launch an attack on South Korea, thinking that he might gain some tactical or strategic advantage.
As for Baby Huey down Venezuela way?
He's a pissant. We can take his ass out like yesterday's garbage any day of the week we take a notion to do it, and there isn't one damn thing he can do about it except to parrot Cindy Sheehan about how "evil" the U.S. is. He actually thinks he can remain in power until 2031, when the fact is, that no-cojones scumbag isn't even going to LIVE to see 2031.
Mark that down. You read it here first.
I pretty much detest Pat Robertson, but he was EXACTLY right on this one.
Oil is valuable; Venezuala is not. Same deal in most oil-rich countries-- they can afford to be pointless and worthless because money keeps coming in right now, but the fact remains that they are pointless and worthless, but when the oil is gone, and/or they aggravate enough people that their oil is simply taken away from them by force, they will be needing to sell a whole lot of chewing gum to an eager world to even continue to exist. Such a pity!
Well, he is right about the scarcity of oil. Can't deny that if we attack Iran, the price of oil will go to $200 a barrel or more.
Stopping the flow of oil worked so well for the good folks in the Middle East the last time it was tried. /sarc
The same thing will happen to los Venezolanos . Without the black gold flowing out of the depths of Lake Maracaibo, his people will starve. Mass starvation is by far the fastest way to drive that man from power.
We need energy independence now. I'm beginning to think this should be our nation's top priority.
Their oil doesn't keep him from squeaking...
Not from this article, but just as interesting:
She [Rice at her confirmation hearing] reserved some of her harshest language for President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, whose government she said had "not been constructive" because of his tough tactics against the press and the opposition.
"Is it possible for you to say something positive about the Chavez administration?" asked Chafee, apparently taken aback at the toughness of her words. When Rice said "it's pretty hard, Senator, to find something positive," Chafee said her attitude "seems disrespectful to the Venezuelan people" who had elected Chavez.
Then there is what Sen. Dodd said:
Dodd said Chavez had demonstrated he was Venezuela's legitimate, democratically elected president by winning a national referendum on his rule in August.
Also:
As Senator Christopher Dodd has noted, "To stand silent while the illegal ouster of a government is occurring is deeply troubling and will have profound implications for hemispheric democracy."
Where does Venezuala get its food from?
Mark this day down on your calender: September 11, 2006
Fidel, Hugo, and Iranwannabomb will be having a meeting together.
Stupid fat little pansy would soon be history and a generalissimo would be back in charge.
This used to be the CIA's account. But now all they do is sit around and figure out ways to F* over their own nation's President. Real enemies of the Republic? "Not our problema" says the Company.
Well said, and we can't even drill for our own oil and utilize more nuclear energy that will make these pissants irrelevant.
Rush recently pointed out how much extra money these blowhards have pocketed by talking up the price of oil - they must be laughing their a$$e$ off at us.
Our CIA should have offed this mongrel years ago
Chavez needs a serious wake-up, then go-to-sleep call. Send a division of Marines with air cover and he is toast. Do the same in Bolivia. Too many Marxists are gaining power and contaminating foreign affairs everywhere.
