lol, they've done similar studies on 'hunter gather' societies in rainforests etc... that are often idolized etc.. by some.

I remember reading somewhere that prior to contact with the Europeans, the native Australian people, even though a small population living at a Stone Age level, nonetheless fought non-stop brutal wars with each other.
