When we were setting up the support poles of the blue banner against Walter Reed's fence, Princess strolled by and said, "Are you aware that that's government property?" referring to the fence. ConcreteBob had obtained permission to hang our banners on the fences, and only a leftist would fail to grasp the difference between signs that disrespect the troops and the mission (such as the ones Code Pink hung on the fence for the first 40 weeks) and our signs, which say "WE HONOR OUR BRAVE TROOPS" and "WELCOME HOME, HEROES" at the entry gates where the soldiers and their families pass through.
Lefties always confuse First Amendment speech protection with the complete license to say anything indecent, uncivil, or deliberately false and misleading -- as if freedom gives them a pass to offend and vilify what others hold sacred, without any consequence.
Oh, well, poor Princess. After his gratuitous remark, we shot back, "Are you aware that that's a skirt you're wearing?"
I think he's trying to figure out why we would even notice it, or his shaved legs.
Oh my! : o
