The ACLU is not attempting to repel foreign enemies nor catch terrorists.

If anything, their objective is to have foreign armies enter America, kill our people, steal our stuff and plunder everything of value.

It's the hypocrisy of the ACLU lecturing others on privacy and the potential for misuse of such information that is striking.

As for the substance of invading people's privacy, ACLU as a private organization here appears no different than a bazillion businesses like credit card companies, banks, local governments, Walmart, etc. The difference is that all the others don't lecture us.

Really? Do you know any ACLU people? I just find this very funny.

Ever seen video of the Libertarian conventions or gatherings of the old Perot groups? Mostly elderly bitter people sitting around being harangued by younger ones who like to hear themselves yap. Of course, the ACLU does have a pack of lawyers to boot.
