Of course I was about the only Republican in the neighborhood and always had just one booth instead of the seven Dem booths set up.

They have separate booths for Republicans and Democrats in LA? I've never heard of such a thing...

I always take my ID with me where ever I go..I am a licensed gun owner so have to make sure that I have my counseled weapons permit with me and driver license..at all times..What you mentioned is a good thing to know for others though..

That's Los Angeles, and yes, they did.

Indiana just started a photo ID requirement this year. I'm surprised the Chicago Sun-Times didn't mention that their neighboring state is doing this.

Wow, seems like that should be illegal.... Just like I never thought it was right that I should have to state my party when registering to vote in NC. It seems like a way to get around the whole concept of anonymous voting.

Oh, and sorry to imply that you were talking about Louisiana, I just figured everybody used the shorthand LA for Los Angeles.

The good thing about it was that I never had to wait in line!
