Better to be treated badly by your enemies than by family. In this case family has become the enemy.

Well folks, tomorrow is here. I'm pledging not to vote for any RINOs, and if that means that a Democrat gets elected I'll consider myself to have worked for change in the party.

Just wondering...did you vote for Ross Perot, Bill Clinton, George Bush or someone else in 92?

So, you felt the need to post a vanity to tell everyone of your decision, instead of simply choosing the response to the poll. Says a lot about your need for attention.

That's the quandry alright. It must be how a lot of african-Americans feel about the dems -- holding their noses and voting all these years, mostly for nothing. As for me, if the right candidate (and I mean right = conservative) isn't on the ballot in 08, I won't vote for a presidential candidate. I'm absolutely prepared to bail on this party at the national level. IF they don't put forth a conservative, then only a loss will force them to change.

Thanks for your post and yes its a tough issue at best...

I think I am going to take a deep breath, and hold my nose to avoid the putrid stench of the current Republican party and vote for them. Sometimes I too get so disgusted and angry I feel like you do but I am going to go the pragmatic route and still be loyal the Pubs. The main driver is the RATS just scare me much much worse...

But it sure is a suck ass lineup when you look at both parties!! LOL!!

I saw the Bushbots jumped you never mind them they can't stand to talk issues they just insulting and get real shreaky and shrill like the liberals.....;-)

I look at these things from a spiritual perspective. I figure that if the hard-left Democrats take congress this year, and Hillary gets elected in '08, it will be because God has finally run out of patience with our society, and we are due for a season of judgment. If God uses hardnosed, pinheaded "conservatives" to bring that judgment, so be it. Whether we live and prosper, or dwindle and die as a nation, blessed be the Lord. (I pray for prosperity and life, but maybe America is in need of some hard times.)

Well said.

Of course, there are quite a few here who shout about the collective number of "protest" or third party votes being less than one percent...............

So, it could be argued that your vote really doesn't carry much weight.

It is far more important to have cast your vote for a candidate you believe will actually represent your position in government, than to vote for a party blindly.

Threads like this make it easy to spot the needy and spoiled little brats. They are great team players as long as they get their way 100% of the time.

I posted this earlier on another thread:

No true conservative could hope for a Dem win in November.

Bush's tax cut would be revoked.

His No Child Left Behind would be gutted (except for the money to the schools) guaranteeing ignorance from public school graduates.

The Medicare plan would drop private company's participation and be totally government run and funded, just as Gore wanted.

There would be no chance for additional conservative judges to be appointed for any level, much less the Supreme Court.

Repeal of Roe v. Wade would be impossible.

Illegal immigrants would be given amnesty and citizenship, guaranteeing Dem control of many southwestern states. No wall, no nothing!

America would turn tail and run from Iraq, making OBL very happy, and letting the rest of the Muslim world know we are the wimps OBL says we are.

Iran will get a nuclear weapon.

Israel would be abandoned in favor of Palestine.

No new refineries, no nuclear plants, no drilling for oil or gas in the continental US would be allowed.

Labor unions will be running homeland security.

We can watch while every moonbat charge of the last six years is investigated by Congress....tying up the Administration and the military testifying.

Anyone on this forum pushing for a Dem win in November to punish Republicans is a fool.

If you are so one issue that you would throw away fifteen years of conservative gains........

I agree with you that the poll is poorly written.

My House representative is neither a Rat nor conservative, but a solid RINO.

So I am "working for conservatism" by contributing to the Club for Growth and the NRA, and by ignoring my local House race.

We don't have to get rid of them all, to effect a change. We can send a strong message by developing a short RINO hit list and going after them big time. Get an alternate Repub and back them.

Any suggestions?

Hope you have your flame suit on.

The "Republicans at any cost" clan will soon be here to flame you, call you dirty names, accuse you of being a HIllary Supporter, accuse you of being a closet democrap, accuse you of being unpatriotic, accuse you of doing everything under the sun.

However, they won't have a second to post why they think your stance is not the right one in a logical manner.

They simply do not possess the maturity to do that. Most children don't.

This year we are faced with having to vote for the lesser of two evils. Does anyone really think that voting for a Democrat, third party minority candidate, or not voting at all is going to make things better? The Democrats are against everything conservatives stand for. They will weaken this country's economy, security, and sovereignty. If you don't like what congress and the president is doing write or call and tell them so. Be a pest, be a gadfly and force them to return to their conservative principles embracing freedom and independence as opposed to restrictions and dependence. If they don't, campign for a more conservative candidate. A non vote or a Democratic vote is a sure way to socialism and dependence.
Like Churchill said, "Never give in, never give in, never give in!!"

Agreed, and i had them same reaction to the poll question. I found it odd on a board where we often berate the MSM for their tendencious polls.

When the law of the land is constantly undermined by legislative acts in the name of our own good and safety - We've got a problem

When existing laws pertaining to illegal immigration are not enforced by Local, State, and Federal authorities due to the inconvenience - We've got a problem

When wealthy corporations have enough government influence to override the interests of the American people - We've got a problem.

When the government is typically inconsistent with foreign policy when dealing with terrorism, tech. transfer, and oppressive nations - We've got a problem

When were told that having a diverse national energy policy is imperative to our national security yet is acted upon with little emphasis - We've got a problem.

I could go on and on...........

rewarding RINOs with leadership positions

I'm pledging not to vote for any RINOs, and if that means that a Democrat gets elected I'll consider myself to have worked for change in the party.

So working for change in the party means only accepting those who agree with you as fellow party members. Not much of a team player, are you?

Fact is that Arlen Spoecter and Olympia Snowe are not only loyal Republicans, but they are more loyal than you and all of the other phony party "supporters" who have admitted they will work for the victory of the other party.

Rudi Giuliani has endorsed Ken Blackwell. I applaud him for that. When he failed to endorse Pataki and instead endorsed the 'Rat Mary Matalan properly called him out as "Judas Guiliani".

I'm tired of the Judas Wingnuts around here stabbing the President and other Republicans in the back. Calling other Republicans "Republicans in Name Only" and then in the same worthless vanity declaring that you'll work for Democrat, not Republican victory is prima facia evidence of pathological projection. YOU, and those turncoats like you, are the true RINOS. The only thing weaker than your arguments are your numbers.

Don't go away mad, just go away and vote 'Rat or Turd Party.

If we keep accepting the RINOs that are put up, there's no reason for the Republican Party to change.

I agree. See tagline.

That said, I will not vote 3rd party. If I'm forced to choose between Menendez and Kean the Less in NJ, I'll write in Doctor Raoul.
