"but I gotta believe that this study is pure bull $h!t."
The article did not reference a "study", although that is what it suggested.
I smoke, have all my life... I don't like the extra taxes I pay, but I'm not ready to give it up yet.
I question the assertion that "one cigarette a day" does 1/3 the damage of a pack a day. (for you nonsmokers, a pack in the United States has 20 cigarettes) I don't follow the logic of this.
It seems to me that when someone wants to commit suicide, they don't go into the garage and light one up. They go into the garage and start the car. Exhaust smoke must be much worse.

There just isn't any direct evidence pointing to any second hand smoking health problems.
Now if they are going to ban cigarettes do it, I'll make a fortune on the black market.

So funny actually. They just banned smoking in bars here in NJ . Nj is cancer alley .North NJ has more pollution in it's poor excuse for air, more mercury pools underground , is the biggest waste dump on the planet , yet they are worried about smoking. Even funnier is that it's banned at bars EXCEPT in Atlantic City casinos. Hummm , think BIG $$$$ and the mob helped them make that exception or is it that there is something special about casino air ?
