5 and 6 iron? What a dumbass. He should have taken just the sand wedge, it's the heaviest club in the bag. And it has to have a steel shaft, those whippy graphite twigs just shatter when you try to thump someone with them.

Yes, but the sand wedge can be one of the most difficult shots. And what if he uses the 3 wedge system; which do you use? Many of us feel more confortable with a full swing with a middle to short iron. It requires less "touch", and I suspect that our golfer wasn't looking for a finesse shot.

That's why I play hockey. When you hit someone with a hockey stick it actually teaches them a lesson. And you don't get arrested for hitting someone with a hockey stick, you only spend two minutes in the penalty box (five, if you draw blood).
