You are correct:
From Wickipedia (yeah yeah! I know) ...
By December 21 the German forces had surrounded Bastogne, which was defended by the 101st Airborne Division and Combat Command B of the 10th Armored Division. Conditions inside the perimeter were toughmost of the medical supplies and personnel had been captured. Despite determined German attacks, however, the perimeter held. When General Anthony McAuliffe was awakened by a German invitation to surrender, he gave a reply that has been variously reported and was probably unprintable. There is no disagreement, however, as to what he wrote on the paper delivered to the Germans: "NUTS!" That reply had to be explained, both to the Germans and to non-American Allies.
Thanks.....bump.
Nobody is lettin their guard down, certainly not the U.S. Military...Whatever they start we will end...
This is rather reminicent of the 15 part message Japan sent the United States in December, 1941...We all remember how that turned out...stay alert Freepers, I suspect we will be hearing from Mahmmod very soon.
Good point. I have thought that the implied threat of going Nuclear may be a canard to distract our attention from what they really plan to do. I was thinking a biological attack.
1- We don't support "liberal values", or your values.
2- Our President is not to be addressed as "your Excellency".
3- We would sooner shoot ourselves in the head than to embrace Islam.
4- Kindly do not hang the despicable suffix "(PBUH)" after the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He warns that the danger is already here - "Could it be planned and executed without coordination with intelligence and security services or their extensive infiltration? Of course this is just an educated guess"
It appears he has, in his mind, called on all the prophets, and seems to be calling for the the beginning of the Apocalypse protraying President Bush as the 1st Horseman, and himself the Second....
"I don't even know what were supposed to be scared of?"
Mmmmm. Perhaps that silly old axis of evil again. Our president has just named a military General to head up the CIA (now why would he have done that out of the blue?), and North Korea reportedly has hardened biofacilities trying to tinker with the current avian flu. Now who do you think they could market that to(since they have to market something before they starve to death?) Not to mention one of the local networks has just shown a bird flu TV movie and referred everyone to pandemicflu.gov just in case you didn't get your fill of fear from the regular news.
Laura Mansfield is most likely correct in her analysis.
Yep. A lot of RINOs would grow balls.
Or else Bush would be impeached in favor of Cheney, who would reduce America's nuclear arsenal by 50% over the next 4 to 6 hours.
Cheers!
Wow! You got that post into Breaking News, even though it's about the Iran situation and not about celebrity individuals or illegal immigration?
Seriously...good post of news that we need to know! BTTT!
"I'd like to see the original copy of Mahmood's letter to determine if the DNC's fax number is on the bottom margin."
Oh, get real. Of course it isn't. It is on the back side of the first page at the top.
LOL, a hand cranked model, eh?
Just like the good ol days when Dad enriched uranium on the back porch. :)
"But in reading this rambling letter it seems clear to me that he is trying to get Americans and others in the world to question our Government and test our faith in our system."
I saw that also. Looks like he is trying to divide Americans and others the world over against President Bush.
Thanks RR
ping ;)
Being you just signed on today how would you begin to know this?
Ping to important news, take it to the bank?!
Combine Iran and etal and we are going to see something
