That's nothing new really. The Seattle area alone has over 24,000 registered sex offenders...and they are legal residents.
I did not know about that one specifically - do you think U.S. citizens don't kill and/or rape illegal aliens too? This would be the kind of "other" crimes I'm talking about. There was an illegal alien killed over the weekend on the border - did you know that?
