It really isn't going to effect my opinion of the overall issue one way or the other if its true (in fact I'll be kinda relieved 'cause I've always considered the BP itself was more or less on the side of strict enforcement) but I'd kinda expect the WH and BP management to deny charges this politically explosive.
We'll know for sure in a day or two.
You'll have to let me know any other time the White House has lied to the country because they would NOT lie about this. Neither would the border patrol.
