Jeff, I agree with everything you wrote in that post.
When this President addressed our nation after 9-11 I mentioned to my wife that many times in history the right man comes along at the precise moment he is needed most.
I only wish that that same man would take a leadership role in this mess we find ourselves in at this time but he is nowhere to be found. Well he's there, but he has not taken a leadership role and is simply spouting rhetoric that is getting us further and further behind the infamous eight-ball.

They are wrong big time on this issue. This issue is so definitive and so obvious...amongst the citizens of this nation, it has huge traction across all geographic, political, and racial lines IMHO.

There is no way to make this go away.
To actively fight against your own citizens who were forced to do the damn job our elected officials refused to do is unforgivable.
I might just make it to the polls and pull the D lever, if we're gonna give the Country away it might as well be to the devil I know as opposed to the mexican goverment.
To: IrishMike
WOW! Your government in action.
I know it's off point, but can anyone tell me....
All the businesses and factories which were moved to Mexico and intended to screw American labor and give Mexican labor the chance to build things under NAFTA & GATT....
If all that was so good for America (and especially good for Mexico), why the heck are all the Mexicans coming HERE?
None of this New World Order crap makes any sense unless you are a millionaire+ who can move money around to suit changing economic conditions.

OK. It ius beyond obvious now. The Border Patrol is part of Homeland Security which is under the Executive Branch of government. Based on this report, this indicates Bush is essentially in colusion with Fox to ignore U.S. security, ignore immigration law and expidite the entry of illegal aliens into the U.S. While Bush is securing Iraq's border's, he is leaving the U.S. border wide open.
Let's face the music. The current administration will not do anything to secure the U.S. border. In fact, they will undermine any effort to do so.

Next up: We will hear that the "nuclear football" has been turned over to China for safekeeping - and they have changed the access codes. [every day day I read the news out of DC and the blood pressure rises- who needs caffine anymore?]

The congress has about 4 or 5 months to get something done on the border or the GOP is toast. Just announcing that they are giving the Border Patrol more money isn't going to cut it with the voters this time. This one issue may be the straw that breaks the Camels back. Blue collar jobs such as Construction non union jobs are being taken by illegals. People who never had political thoughts in their life are now madder than hell at the GOP for not taking a tough stand. The GOP would be wise to listen.

Thanks. They are missing the boat on this issue...big time. It is a defining and clarifying issue. It is truly an all-American issue and it has resonance across all geographic, political, and race boundaries amongst the citizens. It is obvious to any common American.
I pray Bush and the GOP Senate turn around on this...there are already plenty within the GOP who see it clearly...reference the overwhelming support of the Sensenbrenner bill in the house.

the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are.
Our government would appear to be in open revolt against the will of the people. Now what do we do about it?

No not yet, but this issue (D's are mad as hell too) could give birth to a real third party. Not just a split the GOP party but a party of Americans vrs the elitist globalist Rat/GOP parties.

The fact that this info is made public...tells me that this is an intimidation tactic by the Border Patrol (the Bush Admin) against the Minutemen.
Boggles the mind. Call me, USAToday, and we'll make it 29%.

I'm pretty new here. Why would the moderators take this off of Breaking News?
I've never gone there, but I think I will now, and see what's there. Do the moderators have an agenda that I don't know about? Are they tilted toward President Bush, no matter what he does? What's up?
Man, this place is complicated.
Please email or freepmail me if you have answers for me.
This story is just crazy and I'm going to send it around to every list I'm on and every one I know.
Thanks all.

This sickens me. Unfortunately, I have to go to work right now - but tonight when I get home - I will be emailing my representatives. The GOP has finally lost my support! I will be looking for other alternatives & they are not in the Democrat party either.
IT'S TIME FOR A REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!
To: B Knotts; Jeff Head
No kidding. Admittedly, this one was posted first, but I suspected they'd pull that one because it was in Breaking News. Which is where this belongs, frankly. It's outrageousIs it against FR rules to post a different story by a different author covering the same topic? I don't originate many threads so I'm not that aware of the thread origination rules.
