You forgot CAFTA. I don't think CAFTA is official yet. This little jewel is really going to open the borders as soon as all the central American nations sign on to it.
What do you want? Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton?
Why repeat bad history?

Sure, you idiot, if all immigration were legal (which is what Mexico wants) then none of it would be illegal.
Retards like yourself are selling out our country.

Here's a contact number for the Border Patrol. It was on a homeland security website.
Office of Border Patrol David V. Aguilar (202) 344-2050
What many people don't realize is that America was sold out when NAFTA was signed. The invaders have more rights than we do now.

I don't want all immigration to be "legal" i.e. terrorists or other criminals, serious health risks, etc.
To: kstewskis

Not true - I want an increase in legal immigration and guest worker program - then we will have a real chance of getting closer to ZERO illegal immigration. Respectively, I ask you this question:
If our current immigration laws are not enforced by our gov't, nor are they respected by the "incoming," why would we have reason to believe that a guest worker program and more laws that support "legal" immigration" will lead to....ZERO illegal immigration?

You don't think after 500+ posts, and duplicate threads, there's been enough trouble stirred up? At least I don't advocate violence or call for Bush's impeachment ; )
To: clawrence3
Do you support a guest worker program that displaces American workers with tax payer funded entitlements to these "guest" workers? Do you support ending entitlements to immigrants as was the case in immigration in the past?

Is Bush a traitor or what?
Can,t I have a third choice, please?

I fully support the President of the United States.
Too bad he supports criminals, I mean illegal immigrants. Whoops, actually I mean "guest workers" because a good "compassionate conservative" would never call a criminal a criminal, that's such a harsh thing to say.
To: blaquebyrd
Then maybe we should be calling for his impeachment. Bush's actions against the interests and security of our nation are treason. Impeach him.

"When we detain and hold them on a felony charge, that's when the requirement to allow consular visits comes into play." I know--but that's not the issue here. I'm talking about your garden variety illegal invader here. Not the ones who have committed felonies. I hope we can catch them and send them back before they have a chance to commit a felony. So yes, do the VCCR dance once we imprison one if you must but send the others back as soon as possible with a note from their captor showing date caught, released and a bill from the American taxpayers.

and it's a long-standing requirement of international law. Wrong. It has nothing to do with international law.
Consular notification is an agreement between the United States and other countries. Some countries have mandatory consular notification and others are voluntary. Mexico is mandatory.
