U.S. tipping Mexico to Minuteman patrols (telling the Mexican government)

While Minuteman civilian patrols are keeping an eye out for illegal border crossers, the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are. According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants -- and if and when violence is used against border crossers.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman confirmed the notification process, describing it as a standard procedure meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants' rights are being observed.

"It's not a secret where the Minuteman volunteers are going to be," Mario Martinez said Monday.

"This ... simply makes two basic statements -- that we will not allow any lawlessness of any type, and that if an alien is encountered by a Minuteman or arrested by the Minuteman, then we will allow that government to interview the person."

Minuteman members were not so sanguine about the arrangement, however, saying that reporting their location to Mexican officials nullifies their effectiveness along the border and could endanger their lives.

"Now we know why it seemed like Mexican officials knew where we were all the time," said Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. "It's unbelievable that our own government agency is sending intelligence to another country. They are sending intelligence to a nation where corruption runs rampant, and that could be getting into the hands of criminal cartels.

"They just basically endangered the lives of American people."

This makes me want to throw up. The globalists are determined to destroy our sovereignty. They know the Minutemen have been successful in bringing this issue to the forefront of public debate, so they are foiling their efforts behind the scenes -- even to the point of endangering their lives.

We need to support the Minutemen; they are leading the charge to save our country.

1) It's just the White House doing damage control (for the first time in history they "believe" something put out by the Mexican government) and,

2) It doesn't matter whether it's a lie or not, the problem is still real.

I see others on this thread have attacked your patriotism. I won't.

Rome fell to barbarians who either would not or could not conform to Roman ways were allowed to settle within national borders.

A similar fate befell the Byzantines (yes I know just the eastern half of the empire) for similar reasons to the Turks.

Look at what the Mongols did to China. China had gunpowder and all the Mongols had were some horse and a few goats.

Look at the chicanery that continues in Kosovo. The muslims, from Albania to the South, moved into a relatively prosperous province and decided to take it over. They got it and have ruined it, albeit with the UN's help.

History is rife with situations where a culturally civilized people people are invaded, conquered, subjugated and ruined by nearby populations of people who have no con sept of what makes a civilization successful, which is always the rule of law.

We must be extremely careful and take in citizen candidates who are aware of and fully respect the rule of law.

That is where you and I part ways. I want you to be right, every bit of my knowledge and instinct tells me this is going to end in bloodshed.
