I'm pretty new here. Why would the moderators take this off of Breaking News?

I logged onto FR a saw this story in 'breaking news' but it was pulled for the reason "title does not match headline" when I clicked on it - I did not post the original thread. I found the original article and reposted it with the matching headline but it was pulled soon after as IrishMike beat me to it by a few minutes.

It's a shame though as this one is not in Breaking News (where it should be) and really only the usual suspects will see it.

That's fine. All my RNC money is now going to the minute men.

Good idea. http://minutemanproject.com/

Post of the day, TomGuy.

I WON'T be voting for "more of the same" this election.

That doesn't mean I will vote for a Democrat - never, never, NEVER again will I do that.

But probably won't be voting Republican, either.

It's either sit on my hands, or vote third party.

If the Pubbies lose, they lose. Face it - they richly DESERVE to lose this time.

Flame me if you wish, but this is one guy who has had enough of this nonsense.

There are various allegations around that are distorting the Minutemen such as: (just Google it, man)
http://www.svherald.com/articles/2005/03/20/local_news/news1.txt
Militia leader Casey Nethercott believes the border needs to be controlled; but he's against the upcoming Minuteman Project.

"James Gilchrist is swinging the door open for every wacko, and wackos are the bad percentage of white supremacists, white power," Nethercott said. "They're racists he cannot control."

...the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are.

Ping!

The silence will be deafening, this is indefensible.

They tend to avoid threads like this one as Superman would avoid kryptonite.

sorry...we have troops on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan...I won't abandon them by voting for the Democrats. Rank and file Repubs are as concerned about illegals crossing from Mexico (see support ofr the Sensenbrenner bill). The problem is within the administration. Pres Bush is wobbly on illegal "immigration".

I agree that a third option is missing. That is why I have not voted in the poll until I saw the story about reporting on the minutemen to the Mexicans. Seeing it, I went to the poll and voted to turn it over to the rats. Why not? And don't tell me they could be any worse.

The best I could do is not vote in the poll. However, the upcoming elections will be another story...

Could Kerry have done any worse? I doubt it.

At this point I agree with you. With a democrat in office, the GOP senators would have acted like conservatives again and put severe restraints on Kerry.

Your post reminded me of this link from Michelle Malkin's website, fall 2005...

I haven't ever read her articles. Thanks looks interesting.

Uh oh, you must be one of those 2004 deep-cover trolls and/or 'seminar' posters that is working so diligently towards disrupting GOP unity. Hint: mentioning the 'I' word at FR will bring the 'bots out in full attack mode.

In the future, please refrain from mentioning anything at all about constitutional matters as that would distract the GOP stalwarts from their "Party over Principles Platform" (tm).

that's evidence? One man makes a statement, and you state catagorically that skinheads have infiltrated the Minutemen?

Careful, you might pull a muscle while jumping to conclusions.

Michelle Malkin has been on top of this issue for years now. She is an immigrant herself (legal) but she still gets called a Filipino whore when she speaks up against illegal immigration.

The Republicans will lose the house and the senate if this report is correct.

Pres Bush is wobbly on illegal "immigration".

There is nothing wobbly about this. It's traitorous.

BS poll. Bush Republicans are NOT conservatives. Just here on FR, even trying to try and drum up support for "real" conservatives is met with resistance as being "extreme".

So, we have a choice:

  1. Turn it over to the Rats.
  2. Vote in more GOP mandated/supported RINO's and get Democrat-Light
  3. Kick 'em all out of office and re-institute the Constitution as the "Law of the Land".

How to do that last one is what our discussions SHOULD center on. "If we always do what we've always done, we shouldn't be surprised when we get what we've always gotten."

My money hasn't been going to the GOP for awhile. They have left us in the dust. I can't understand where they think they are going but I know this I will not follow!

If I go third party it's going to be constitution party

same here

I share your frustration but no on needs to tell you that with Hillary peaking at 45-46% to go third party plays directly into her hands. So if you want to elect Hillary be my guest. But then don't complain.

We truly are between a rock and a hard place. But having said that, it does not pay to elect the socialist/commie candidate for the other side.
