Electing democrats or helping to elect democrats is unthinkable and there is not one person who can rightly claim he or she is a conservative that would opt to let Marxist democrats regain power.

We vote for the most conservative of candidates in the primaries but back the GOP nominee in all general elections.

How does making someone EARN my vote equate to electing Democrats? If the Republicans have not earned my vote, then the Dems may win by default...but I don't owe my vote to the Republicans. They have no claim to it. They must earn it. If they fail to meet my standards, they don't get my vote. Period. No amount of "BUT THE DEM WOULD BE SO MUCH WORSE" based fear-mongering will change my position.

Exactly.

Exactly right. There are two battles in every election. Some people confuse what they should be doing in the first with what they need to do in the second.

We must hold our chosen Republican representatives accountable for their actions. If they have failed to represent us, then replacements must be found and elected.

However, to continue to vote for Republicans that have failed to represent the people who elected them, it the utmost in stupidity.

If Republicans are doing the exact same thing as Democrats, why are we supporting them?

You and I both want a strong Conservative government and we share that dedication.

How can we get the people most qualified for the job, if we do not demand accountability?

Do we obtain the most qualified conservative people by electing any idiot that is calling himself a Republican today?

Some of our current Republicans in the House and Senate were former Democrats, but simply switched parties to get elected.

In all honesty, is this what we want? Do we blindly support any person that claims to be a Republican, no matter what he has done in the past?

If so, then people like Senator Chris Dodd are exactly what we deserve.
