MURDOCH TO HOST FUNDRAISER FOR HILLARY CLINTON

Rupert Murdoch has agreed to host a political fundraiser for Hillary Clinton this summer!
Murdoch's surprise decision to raise money for Clinton in July, on behalf of NEWS CORP., parent company of FOXNEWS and the NEW YORK POST, underlines a dramatic turn of relations between Murdoch and Clinton, who in 1998 coined the phrase “vast rightwing conspiracy” to denounce critics of her husband.
Some say the move by Murdoch reflects approval of her Senate career. Others note his record for picking future national leaders. Last century, he threw over the British conservatism he'd long supported to back longshot Tony Blair.
Clinton surprised Washington and media watchers recently by attending a FOX NEWS anniversary party, where she toasted Murdoch.
Political powerbroker and studio head Harvey Weinstein is said to have convinced Hillary that Murdoch could be a friend, not a foe, in her ongoing political maneuvers.
Hillary has now cornered the NY media market, by winning support from the NEW YORK TIMES, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS owner Mort Zuckerman -- and now Murdoch and the NY POST.

Murdoch's current wife is Chinese, from mainland China. Somehow I think this needs to be added to the discussion.
And it's not like Hillary's husband didn't hand over important things to the Chinese............ just to make things even. ;-)
NWO... 'One World Order' or whatever. It's a shame when the world all becomes one (in theory) there will be no U.S. Constitution. Well come to think of it, look what they did with that eminent domain decision. The Constitution is disappearing now.
When the New World order comes about then none of us still alive will have any rights.

Any Republican would want her to be the candidate, because she's unelectable.
The fact that Murdoch will host a fundraiser for Clinton, or even create one, or even give her campaign tons of money for that matter, only has significance for the political and chattering classes. He cannot make or break any candidate, but it is the fond conceit of these people that their mutual "support" or endorsement is essential to them retaining their "empires". Murdoch coming out with the "appearance" of support for Hillary is like Murdoch or any corporate CEO giving large amounts to candidates from both parties, or both political organizations directly. It is called hedging your bets, since implicit in it is the acknowledgement that they don't know who will in fact win, and they want to be in a good position no matter who does win. The fact that he "backed" Blair and Blair won means nothing---millions of others backed Blair as well.
and all the freepers will still watch fox news and american idol.
