Honest Question: Would any of you have any animosity towards Bonds if he didn't play in San Francisco?

I should say first that, inspite of living in the Bay Area, I am from SoCal and I am a Dodger fan, always have been, always will be. But my disgust with Bonds goes back to his days in Pittsburgh. This quote sums it up best:

" It was after Bonds' infamous blowup with Jim Leyland during spring training in 1991 that one of the Pirates' veterans said, "I'd rather lose without him than with win him."
Can somebody help me with the name of the player?

I'm a lifelong Giants fan, so I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree on this.

I don't need to be convinced of the fact that Bonds's character is unsavory, on the other hand, he's "our" unsavory character. My primary "concern" is this three-ring circus that's surrounding this team is being counterproductive. As I said in a previous thread, our ERA is the worst in the NL, we're five back of the Rockies of all teams, and Moises Alou is now on the DL. It isn't the fact that Bonds cheated so much as the fact that we put all of our balls into one sack.
