Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone

When they come I will stand my ground
Stand my ground I’ll not be afraid

Thoughts of home take away my fear
Sweat and blood hide my veil of tears

Sorry, Ms. Enchilada...got there too late to catch that. Here's a bunny with a pancake

Just kidding. Here's a Minuteman and a Minutewoman:

Met both Mr. Stucky and Mr. Gilchrist - amazing gentlemen who seem to be gaining resolve and inspiration the further along they go. Tom Kovach was simply astonishing as he related how he, a state legislator, just passed through sensitive areas of Tennessee's capital building without seeing troopers on duty...because they were all out on the parapet monitoring the rally activities (attention that he said wasn't given to the illegal's rally on May 1st).

Everyone turned and saw that it was true while some wag hollered "Way to go, boys!"

I heard some of those "uninhibited" hollers: very responsive crowd. Yes, I remember that part of Mr. Kovach's speech; it was an "Oooohh" moment. Y'all need watchin'.

Thanks for the photos... do you mind if we copy those onto the next thread and over to the round-up thread?

Well, I have met neither Mr. Stucky nor Mr. Gilchrist yet. But I've spoken quite a bit with Lyman on phone by now; when I asked him, have you met any FReepers there? He said, Not yet. So, I guess you met him after the Rally. Awesome!!

Yesterday we were told on local news to start conserving water because THE OVERCROWDING population is causing WATER SHORTAGES!!!!

WATER SHORTAGE because of the d*mn illegal INVADERS!

This has to stop and now! Deport the invaders!

Thanks for the continued updates on the Caravan. 400-500 people is a real respectable crowd. Sometimes I hope for 25. But there is sooooo much going on in the D.C. area, the FReepers get burnt out. Several weekends ago, we had five FReeps going on over a 3 day period. D.C. seems to be a magnet for all the miscreants.

Hope you have plenty of free call minutes.

As of last night, I still haven't an seen agenda for D.C., ie., when they are going to arrive, if they are going to also have a rally, when they are going to the House & Senate reps.

Can you help with this and give us some notice. While I've an all day seminar I need to attend for Continuing Education Credits, others need to be notified. As you know, the earlier the better. We want to help in any way we can.

Again, Thanks.

The Treaty of Guadelupe Hidalgo

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, ending the Mexican War, was signed on February 2, 1848, by Nicholas P. Trist for the United States and by a special commission representing the collapsed government of Mexico. Under the treaty, Mexico ceded to the United States Upper California and New Mexico (including Arizona) and recognized U.S. claims over Texas, with the Rio Grande as its southern boundary. The United States in turn paid Mexico $15,000,000, assumed the claims of American citizens against Mexico, recognized prior land grants in the Southwest, and offered citizenship to any Mexicans residing in the area. The text of Article IX was modified by the U.S. Senate, and Article X was deleted in its entirety.

$368,808,631.58 in the year 2005 has the same "purchase power" as
$15,000,000 in the year 1848.

Just got this link a short bit ago from the Arizona folks. Write or email your Senators and/or Congressmen. This is very disturbing news...

Unbelievable even...lol

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman confirmed the notification process, describing it as a standard procedure meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants' rights are being observed.

Migrants? Migrants??? Man what a joke.

So let's see. If I want to be burglar, I can get a government agency to warn me which houses have people to catch me so I can avoid them.

Illegal Invader Insurgent Lawbreaking Criminals do not have ANY rights!

Well OK. They have the right to be sent back to their own country after paying for the costs of processing them.

Yeah, I know. Write or email(or both) as many politicians as you see fit. Let them know how you feel about the slime that is trying to take our country away from us. And tell anyone else on FR you think might help...
