"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "The show show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Are you doing a Rush thread today?
MNJohnnie is. He just put it up.
would make you appropriate bear but don't have my Paintshop Pro up and running again yet after the crash.. Poor birdies!!
"I have always liked Porter Goss ever since the first time I had the opportunity to see him on the House floor. He has always seemed to be an honest stand up guy."
I couldn't have said it better. Dittos all around.
The best praise I can think of for the man is the MSM running after their own tail trying to find (or create)something they can use to slander him.
I'll cling to my first guess in any case. Goss was the point man, got the objective identified and now can go home and rest on his laurels for a job well done.
Not me. The truth is that there are conservative kool-aid drinkers out there. That doesn't bother me at all. Loopy liberals exist, and so do coco puff conservatives. That doesn't bother me at all.
It's ok to be critical of some conservatives, their agenda, and their tactics, when appropriate. There's no doubt in my mind that there are many 'GOP Good, Dems Bad' types that don't bother thinking things through much.
There is also no doubt that some conservatives go overboard with their positions to the point that what they advocate isn't practical, and they just marginalize themselves. Recognizing this doesn't make someone less of a conservative in any way.
And no, I don't agree on much with the BORing one. He has zero concept of how things are in the real world.
All I said was that I think the average conservative would agree with O'R more often than not. He is much more conservative than he is a liberal.
But he's much more a pompous a$$ than he is a conservative.

I would agree with you on that. He plays to the Left sometimes because he hopes to entice Hillary on his show and loves to lure Hollywood type, too. He might be called a CHINO! [Conservative in Name Only]
Are you dense? How many times do you need it explained: NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
Sometimes I don't understand why you just don't come out and say what you think! lol

This sounds like the same info I heard on Jerry Doyle the other night.
If so, the data is of 2002 which means that as of 06 it is safe to assume that it is now worse.
BOR has ZERO positions...it's all finger in the air with him. Which ever way the wind blows, that's where he is. He's no conservative, spends most of his time catering to the left, so I don't see where you think he's anything but a squishy LIEberal.
No...islam is a death cult and a blight upon the earth. Take no prisoners, instead of guaranteeing them a lawyer paid for by US taxpayers.
Do you agree with some of his observations on the culture war? He's a secularist...why would I agree with that?
Do you agree with some of his observations about illegal immigration?
BOR says he wants border security but doesn't want to treat illegals as felons. They are felons...or foreign agents, neither of which should be here.
Do you agree with some of his observations about the ACLU's antics?
ACLU are a bunch of commie loving lawyers that would twist and bend law to fit their agenda. Jail is too kind for that lot. He'd coddle them, and if you think any different, look at his interview with Schumer. How many times he kiss Chuckie's ass in one interview?
Do you agree with some of his observations about crime & punishment?
No, he's against death penalty for guilty, but fine with death penalty on innocent (unborn).
Do you agree with some of his observations about light criminal sentencing of sex offenders?
Nope, he thinks that prison can rehabilitate them. I don't.
BOR's approach is to pick a position, then pick two polar extremes, and call himself a moderate. Its kind of arbitrary of him to do so. Personally I think he doesn't want to admit that his positions are more often than not conservative because he doesn't want to be labled as a "right winger". I think that is too bad because I am a "right winger" and I don't give a rats @$$ what the MSM wants to label me.
