WELLINGTON (Reuters) - Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards had surgery to relieve a blood clot on his brain caused by an accident while holidaying in Fiji, local media reported on Monday.

A spokeswoman for the band said last week that Richards only suffered a mild concussion from an accident in Fiji in late April and would not require surgery.

Yeah, he'll need an industrial strength Motrin and an elastic jock strap for a while.

Keith Richards is indestructable. It'll take a lot more than this to keep him down!

Yep, only cockroaches and Keith Richards would survive a nuclear attack.

Brain? What brain? Richard's head consists of gunk from all the drugs he did.

Keith seems to be a pretty down-to-Earth guy, and I'm sure he just had to roll his eyes when Mick wrote those anti-Bush songs.

I bet the doctors had to pack a lunch to find Richard's brain.

"Brain? What brain?"
As Confucius said, "it is the most difficult thing to find a black cat in a dark room, especially when the cat is not there".

A humorous clip I saw on TV once: Keith Richards was asked about his guitar riff on "Satisfaction..." and he said something to the effect of "I was sleeping when it came to me. I woke up and put it on a cassette. Then, the next day, I played it back and it had a few seconds of this riff and 44 minutes of snoring."
