I think this is structured probably more like a news editorial than a casual blog post. Had it been sent to a MSM it would be considered a commentary and printed on the editorials page. In addition, the post is about the relationships New Zealand has with the United States from the NZ perspective, so I think it would be appropriate to post this back on the main news forum, thanks.
