Good perspective. Here is an interesting part:
"Post-Americanism is the state of having moved beyond loyalty to the U.S.," according to Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies. Mr. Krikorian believes he coined "post-American."
"Somebody for whom the interests of the U.S. are not paramount and no longer feels greater loyalty to his fellow Americans. They have become cosmopolitans," he says.
Americanism started with Lincoln and ends with Bush, or maybe his successor.
Don't leave out all the talking heads and the MSM with their purple propaganda.
Marking.
Why must this be so complicated?
BUILD A FENCE. It's that simple. Just do it.
Mr. Krikorian believes he coined "post-American."Ping! (He neglected to mention: blame the Courts, too)"Somebody for whom the interests of the U.S. are not paramount and no longer feels greater loyalty to his fellow Americans. They have become cosmopolitans," he says.
Blame the defenseless border with Mexico for the 11 million-plus illegal aliens who didn't have to swear allegiance to America, the White House and Wall Street demanding illegals get rubber-stamped citizenship, allowing them to access government programs, school districts allowing them to vote, teachers using patriotism and jingoism interchangeably, forcing callers to push "1" to hear messages in English, allowing foreign companies from hostile nations control of vital parts of American ports -- and that's just since January.

What makes the US better than other countries is not something intangible.
Its the fact that people just try and do the right thing, without getting muddled up in all sorts of political correctness and rhetoric (for the most part).
If Bin Laden attacks the twin towers, we go after him, we hurt him.
If crime bosses were taking voer the country in the 1920s, we fight them, we liquidate them.
I believe very much in the United States.
No matter what anyone says, we'll beat this.
"OK everybody, listen to me. I have the perfect plan to destroy America once and for all. If the President does not meet our demands, we will use high technology to disable all the sensors on the Mexican border as well as use some of these uh..."lasers"..to blind all the border agents who keep illegal aliens from sneaking across the border. Then, millions of illegal aliens will flood across the border, overwhelming welfare and social services offices, schools, hospitals and infrastructures, all while stealing jobs from American workers and sending untaxed money out of the country. They'll also have lots of criminals coming in with the others, who will commit massive amounts of crime and maybe even some terrorism to boot. The President will have no choice but to meet our demands and pay us....ONE BILLION dollars!! HooHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!..HOOHahaha.......what?"
"(cough) Doctor Evil...many things have changed since you've been away. There is no effective border anymore. The President not only is not afraid of your threats - he's made it national policy to implement by default - everything you just described. Not only that - he will hardly pay you one billion dollars to avoid what he WANTS to have happen - and which is CURRENTLY happening - at a cost of tens of billions of dollars annually. I suggest just the opposite...that we threaten to CLOSE the border. Only THAT will scare this President."
Oh, Dimitri Vassilaros (the author)? Are you going back to where your ancestors came from, or are you only going to hang out in my country and complain?

Bump for the inevitable.
