I understand why women and why men think women should despise her for this. On a personal level though I struggle with this. If I truly loved someone and wanted to remain with them I can understand why one might behave in this way. With Hilliary though I suspect it is more to do with power and position.

Yep, you are right. Hillary is staying with Slick because she wants the powerful position of being the President of the United States. She is an opportunist who would do ANYTHING to become president in 2008.
