Neither George Bush nor anyone in his administration has ever questioned Kerry's patriotism.

However, I, Miss Marple, DO question his patriotism. I think Kerry is a traitor who has not one speck of love for this ccountry.

Now, to question something is to implicitly admit the possibility of its existence. More properly, you should say you deny his patriotism. :)

He is a person with a deep grudge against parts of this country which have made it great. That grudge and its associated hate caused him to betray it.
